2,000 years ago there was the Roman town called Aquincum in the area of Óbuda. The five neighbouring thermal springs were converted into wonderful public baths. The concept of the Aphrodite Spa Health & Wellness Centre was inspired by this antique thermal culture. The hot and healing water comes from a natural thermal spring near Margaret Island.
